The Association’s Governing Council and National Executive convene regularly to discuss the organisation's lobbying work and current activities. They serve as a crucial link with members and help formulate the HOPESEA's policies.

Members have access to the secretariat’s helpline offering first-stage advice. Arrays of support services provided by leading specialists in the industry sourced from member hotels / restaurants are provided through the secretariat’s link for further stages of counsels and are particularly invaluable to our members.

    • Legal Or Business Related Help
      HOPESEA Business / Legal Support Helpline provides members with a specialised legal opinion and direction on employment, commercial and company law, as well as health and safety matters.
    • Accountancy Help
      For advice on Rewards & Benefits schemes, VAT & Taxes, Service Charges or any other related issue, members can call the HOPESEA Secretariat, which provides advice on all accountancy related issues.

03  Inter Organisational Staff Exchange Support Programme

Special opportunities are available exclusively for HOPESEA member establishments to send their employees to better structured and equipped member hotels / restaurants for short term exchange training programme.

05  Communications

The HOPESEA website is a dynamic resource tool for members and offers a wealth of detailed information on all of our activities, and includes a lobbying round-up, downloadable documents, industry news and details about upcoming events.

Members receive a regular business update email containing valuable insights into legislative announcements and regulatory reform, along with a fully searchable archive of must-have information.

A monthly HOPESEA newsletter is also sent to members to round up HOPESEA and industry events, inform members of the latest news and publicise new benefits in conjunction with HOPESEA Patron Suppliers and Corporate Partners.

06  Commitment

To ensure your customers and your staff recognise your commitment to the hospitality industry, HOPESEA supplies a range of materials to promote your membership - a membership certificate, window sticker, a logo (for use on letterhead, in advertisements and on your website) and a plaque to display externally.

The Hotel and Personal Services Employers’ Association of Nigeria has been representing the hotels, restaurants and catering industry for about 31 years. The Association exists to ensure that the views of the Nigerian hospitality industry are represented in a forceful, coherent and co-ordinated way to government and policy makers in Nigeria and internationally, in order that its members' businesses can flourish.
